Now that we are at the end of the year 2016 and looking forward, a lot is waiting from Goatman Studios! The long pauses of updates here on the website etc means nothing but hard work creating new music.
We’re writing material for several new works. No less than three/four albums are taking shape:
“Atlantis”; An EP album where we collect some older unpublished material with brand new compositions. The majority is finished and we are now working hard to bring it all together plus looking for a publisher.
“Flight of the Raven” and “Valhalla Awaits”; Two EPs of songs previously released on the compilation series “Elements” (ongoing, published by US-based Venus Aeon), but also bonus tracks exclusive for those EPs. These songs are thematically written from a Nordic mythological perspective. We have over the past year collaborated with two artists and is also in the 2017 collaborating with new folks for this.
“Cosmic Connections” and “Drifting Through Space”; Under the name Tjernberg Brothers, we work on two EPs, the first of which is called “Cosmic Connections”. Here, one can expect jazz/fusion oriented approach, but with appreciable elements of progressive rock, folk and ambient! This project has been a bit sleepy when we had another priority works, but we expect to get going properly again in the coming year. We also have a record company interested in the project!
Further good news is that the short film “Anton”, to which we wrote the music, probably will be released in the coming year! The creators Visual Cooks have announced that after the project has been asleep for a while, it has slowly been resumed.
More details of it all to be revealed in a near future.
